Loading Catalogs

You can load catalogs using the toolbar:

The main File menu includes a number of options for loading catalogs: Open File... loads a file; Open Location... allows you to open a remote catalog from its URL. Reopen reloads a recently viewed catalog.

A number of example catalogs are bundled with Catalyzer. You can load them from the Help menu.

Saving Catalogs

Save a catalog using the toolbar button


To save a catalog, click the Save.png Save button on the toolbar, or choose File > Save.pngSave from the main menu.


The default file extension for Catalyzer catalogs is .axz. This file contains both the catalog, and its type catalog (with the classes).
