| Purpose |
Use this field to add a record to a
record. This is known as a sub-record. In the Catalog tree
panel, a sub-record appears as part of the tree
structure.

To add specific information about an image,
for example the exposure details of a
photograph. The "Exposure"
record in Photos/Photo 1 is a
sub-record.

Right-click to display a menu. This menu
allows you to add, remove or edit a
sub-record.

Use this drop-down menu to select a class for
the sub-record if you want to specify that a
sub-record should be of a certain class. The
Class menu contains a list of all available
classes in the current catalog.
